Battier Guide Detroit is more than a college access program—it’s a launchpad for the next generation of Detroit leaders. Launched in 2025, we work side-by-side with ambitious high school students to help them turn big dreams into bold futures.

Our students don’t just get support—they get a team. Each student is paired with a dedicated mentor and a College Success Coach, creating a personal network of guidance, accountability, and encouragement. Through SAT/ACT prep, career exploration, college-readiness workshops, hands-on learning experiences, and college tours, students gain the confidence and clarity to take charge of what comes next.

We’re rooted in Detroit and built for Detroit. Our program reflects the resilience, brilliance, and drive of this city’s youth, adapting to meet their needs and elevate their voices. Upon graduation and successful completion of the program, eligible students are awarded a four-year college scholarship to help make higher education a reality.
