Overview
The Battier Guide Miami program, launched in 2016, works with driven high-school students to inform them about educational opportunities and motivate them to pursue a college degree. We provide the tools and support they need to excel through high school and onto college campuses, including trained mentors, a College Success Coach, test preparation courses, college-readiness seminars, college tours and more.
Battier Guide students are paired with well-trained mentors, and are provided with a College Success Coach, SAT and ACT preparation courses, college-readiness seminars, college tours and countless other resources and benefits. We have established a strong presence within our partner high schools, and pride ourselves on adapting our program to best meet their changing needs.
Upon high school graduation and successful completion of our program, Battier Guide Miami graduates are awarded a 4-Year Florida Prepaid University scholarship valued at $32,000. Battier Guide Miami has enhanced the lives of over 60 students in Miami, FL, with plans for expansion.
